Day 1 Arrival in Cape Town

Arrival in Cape Town and pick up from the airport to take you to your accommodation. You will be staying close to the city centre to be able to reach all the facilities offered in Cape Town easily. You accommodation offers high quality service and a nice pool to relax.

Day 2 Cape Peninsula Tour

Today you will get an introduction to the beauty of the Cape. You will learn all about the richest flower kingdom in the world which is the Fynbos area of the Cape. You will visit the Cape of Good Hope. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens belong to the top botanical gardens in the world. You will enjoy a tour of the gardens.

Day 3 Robben Island & Table Mountain

Today we will explore the city of Cape Town a bit more, learn about the history of Robben Island and the Table Mountain National Park.

Day 4 Darling

The West Coast National Park as well as the Darling area can be easily explored from Cape Town. It’s only about an hour’s drive and hopefully you will see some good flowers here. The Postberg Nature reserve within the WCNP is the best place on the West Coast to see flowers and is only open in August & September.

Day 5 Swellendam

Swellendam is about 2.5 hours drive from Cape Town and is one of the oldest towns in South Africa. It’s a friendly village next to the 2 nature reserves, Bontebok National Park and Marloth Nature Reserve. We recommend you take the coastal route of Betty’s Bay and Pringle Bay for a very scenic route. There’s also the Kogelberg Biosphere to explore as well some interesting botanical gardens. You will be staying at a Nice guesthouse where the pay attention to detail and make sure that their guests fell as comfortable as possible.

Day 6 De Hoop Nature Reserve

On this day you will visit the de Hoop Nature Reserve, about 1 hour’s drive from Swellendam is one of the most exquisite nature reserves in South Africa and should not be missed. It’s the best place to see whales and the fynbos is fantastic. No big tour groups have discovered this area because it’s a bit off the beaten track.

Day 7 Montagu

Today you will make another beautiful drive through the Overberg with its rolling hills. Visit Soekershof Maize & Gardens near Robertson where you can enjoy a fun and interactive tour of these very special gardens. Overnight in the lovely village of Montagu.

Your Lodge is situated in the heart of Montagu, a quaint and well-kept town reminiscent of a bygone era. Fine hospitality, superb cuisine and exceptional wines, are daily faire for the purveyors of this four-star establishment.

Day 8 Four Star Private Game Reserve near Ceres

This beautiful Private Game Reserve is situated in the middle of nowhere and is a very nice place to enjoy a safari not too far from Cape Town. The Karoo showcases the most incredible starry nights because there will be very little artificial light. Enjoy the wildlife on an afternoon and morning game drive on open jeep safari and sample some African cuisine with a French twist. You will spend  the night in a  4 star chalet and you can relax at their swimming pool after an exciting game drive.

Day 9 Clanwilliam

After the morning safari you leave the Private Game Reserve. It’s quite long drive but you’ll pass some lovely villages with names like Tulbagh, Riebeek-Kasteel and Citrusdal. The area of Clanwilliam is known for the many Bushman paintings.Your Lodge is the perfect place for peace and relaxation. Laze around the pool or simply enjoy the abundant bird life in the lush garden and pick your own fruit from the various fruit trees.

Day 10 Clanwilliam

Today you might want to explore the Sevilla Rock Art Trail with rock paintings dating back between 8.000 and 800 years. In the afternoon, if time permits, you can explore the Ramskop Nature Reserve.

Day 11&12 Springbok

Springbok will be your base for the next 2 days. From here you can visit: Namaqua National Park, Goegap Nature Reserve, Nababiep Nature Reserve, Skilpad Wildflower Gardens and Port Nolloth.

Day 13 Departure

Hopefully by now you will have seen tons of flowers and will leave this beautiful country with many fond memories. Departure in the evening from Cape Town International Airport.
