Touring Cape Town in the Red Topless bus – NOT to be missed

Touring Cape Town in the Red Topless bus – NOT to be missed!

The tour through Cape Town with the red or blue line is an awesome experience to discover Cape Town.  It gives you the perfect overview of the city and stops at the most important places in town. It is very easy to get the tickets either on the bus itself or in many shops spread all over the city. The personnel is very friendly and kind in welcoming you and assisting you with the audio guide. Additionally, the buses are very clean and comfortable and the driver does a perfect job although there are sometimes some very tiny roads to pass.  If you want to enjoy the sun you can just relax on the top of the bus. If the sun does not like to show up one can sit inside in the heated area without freezing and still enjoying the tour.

The audio guide is a nice way to get all the information about the city. It offers more than 10 different languages and also has a children’s program so that the whole family can enjoy it.

The audio guide tells you historical facts about the places the bus passes but also gives you information about the current situation. It definitely never gets boring as the combination with facts, little stories and some jokes in between makes up an outstanding tour. During the excursion you will get little understanding about the history of Cape Town and how far it had become but also where still work needs to be done concerning the way of life of the inhabitants.

Nevertheless the most outstanding experience of this tour was to see the beauty of Cape Town. Cape Town just offers a variety of nature sceneries which is breathtaking.

Hi there, there are brochures in most hotels and B&Bs as well or go the Cape Town Tourism office on the cnr of Burg & Strand street. The bus departs from there as well. Have fun! Jessy
